Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BEP or Bac Pro in automotive mechanics
The profile they look for:
- BEP or Bac Pro in automotive mechanics.
- Ability to report on your work.
- Independence, rigour and good organisation.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality and availability.
- Team spirit and ability to work as a group.
- Good physical fitness.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 8 (Closes in 10 days)
Send your application through the employer's recruitment website before the deadline.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working hours: 37 hours over 4.5 days, with 11 RTT days.
- Interview by panel planned for 19 November 2026, in the morning.
- Workplace: Centre Technique Municipal, Laval.
- Statutory pay with a monthly RIFSEEP bonus and an annual bonus.
