Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Ideally a CAP or BAC Pro in car and truck mechanics.
Experience: With or without work experience.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of mechanics, tyres and automotive electronics.
- Ability to read diagrams and technical manuals.
- Able to diagnose faults and call a specialist when needed.
- Team spirit, good communication and respect for safety rules.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 15 days)
Apply on the employer's website or send your cover letter and CV to the human resources department before the deadline.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence category B required.
- Full-time job of 38 hours per week, with 11 RTT days.
- Remote work not possible.
