The profile they look for:
- Know maintenance, repair and servicing techniques for vehicles.
- Know health and safety rules.
- Be able to organise yourself and work in a team.
- Show rigour and method.
- Be able to adapt and communicate.
- Have basic computer and office skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- The post gives access to the temporary mobility allowance (ITM).
- Driving licence B wanted, strongly recommended.
- Flexible hours, duty shifts and on-call operational duties.
- Working week of 37 to 39 hours, with RTT days. No remote work.
