Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: No specific requirement
The profile they look for:
- Rigour and strict respect of safety instructions.
- Knowledge of rules for installing structures.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Good people skills and adaptability to users.
- Car licence (permis VL) required; truck licence, CACES and electrical authorisation desired.
- Good general physical condition.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Two similar posts are open.
- Fixed hours of 40 hours per week, with possible on-call duty.
- Weekend work possible as overtime.
- Outdoor work, in the cold and noise, with lifting of loads.
