Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The post is open at the grades of technical assistant, principal technical assistant (2nd or 1st class). A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly.

The profile they look for:
- Valid driving licences B and EC (heavy goods vehicles).
- Valid certifications: electrical, aerial platform, pallet truck and electric forklift.
- Know how to load, secure and palletise goods.
- Manage stock and complete inventory documents.
- Follow individual and group safety rules.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Physical job: lifting heavy loads and standing for long periods.
- Intense peaks of activity and strict deadlines during events.
