The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of local government and local shops.
- Good people skills, listening and mediation.
- Ability to run projects with several partners.
- Ability to lead meetings and write reports.
- Independence, initiative and rigour.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working time of 38h30 per week, with RTT days off.
- Occasional evening and weekend availability for shop events.
- Frequent travel across the town's territory.
