Civil servants and contract workers can apply. The post is open at entry-level category C grades, so someone without a civil service exam can be hired.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Good organisation and ability to work on your own.
- Careful in following instructions.
- Listening, patience and kindness towards residents and families.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules.
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Livia).
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter to the president of the CCAS by email or post, to the EHPAD L'Orée du Verger.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
