Civil servants and contract agents can apply, for the grades of Educateur des APS or Educateur principal des APS. A contract agent may be hired if no civil servant has applied.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: BPJEPS AAN or BEESAN
The profile they look for:
- Hold the BPJEPS AAN or the BEESAN.
- Have teaching and regulatory knowledge.
- Master first aid, with up-to-date resuscitation and AED training.
- Have good people skills and a welcoming manner.
- Enjoy teamwork and show initiative.
- Be a good teacher, patient and responsible.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 2 (Closes tomorrow)
Apply on the Cergy-Pontoise agglomeration website, or send your CV and cover letter by post to the Hôtel d'Agglomération.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
