2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Usual hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 16:30.
- Possible work outside hours: events, accidents, snow or ice.
- You will also join the road safety on-call team.
- Several Métropole technical centres possible, depending on the post's location.
