Open to civil servants and contract staff. No competitive exam is needed, because the entry-level category C grade allows direct hiring. Grades: adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal 2nd or 1st class.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Solid knowledge for basic building work.
- Knowledge of more technical work and special products.
- Knowledge of safety rules.
- Able to run a site safely.
- Good team player.
- Public service mindset and initiative.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
