Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, as the grade is category C.

The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of games and digital culture.
- Interest in cultural mediation and working with schools.
- Ability to design and run activities for different audiences.
- Knowledge of library standards and experience with library software.
- Knowledge of Basque is desired.
- Energetic, curious, creative, and committed to public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full time: 37h30 from Tuesday to Saturday, plus RTT days.
- Occasional evening events and activities outside the library.
- Interviews planned for early November 2026.
- Post vacant from 1 November 2026. Library opening planned for spring 2027.
