Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, at a category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Level 4 minimum, in books or animation (ideally BPJEPS cultural animation or games library training)
Experience: Not stated; a first similar experience is ideal
The profile they look for:
- Level 4 diploma minimum in books or animation
- Love of play, teaching skills and ability to lead activities
- Welcoming, good listening and teamwork skills
- Good knowledge of cultural practices in libraries
- Good computer skills and knowledge of library software (SIGB)
- Good knowledge of library science
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
