Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A competitive exam is not needed, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

- Know the equipment and how to use it.
- Be careful and responsible about safety.
- Be discreet when working in the streets.
- Keep to a schedule and deadlines.
- Follow the highway code.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 11 (Closes in 11 days)
Apply on the employer's website. You can also send your CV and cover letter by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- The job is vacant from 1 January 2027.
- A contract worker can be hired while waiting for a civil servant.
- Reference job: public space cleaning officer.
