Civil servants (titulaires) can apply. Contract staff can also apply, but the post is opened to them in a second stage, under article L332-2 and the circular cited in the offer.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Good practical knowledge of law and criminal procedure.
- Mastery of regulations and how to apply them.
- Very good writing, analysis and summary skills.
- Strict respect of processing deadlines.
- Rigour, method and good organisation.
- Comfortable speaking, and able to work in a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 31 (Closes in 425 days)
Apply through the employer's site of the Ministry of the Interior or through Choisir le Service Public, sending your CV, cover letter and the mobility form. The recruitment contact is given in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- The post requires obtaining the « Secret » security clearance.
- Working time of 40h30 per week, with 25 days of paid leave and 29 RTT days.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Availability and discretion are required.
