Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BEP or agricultural vocational baccalaureate in horticulture or landscaping work
Experience: Experience in similar work preferred, not required
The profile they look for:
- BEP or agricultural vocational baccalaureate in horticulture or landscaping.
- Good knowledge of plants, botany, health and safety rules.
- Able to make flower arrangements and do chemical or non-chemical weeding.
- Reports problems to the team leader and answers public questions politely.
- Team spirit, sense of responsibility and a neat appearance.
- Available some weekends. Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time job, to be filled from 1 January 2027.
- Availability asked for some weekends for events and sports competitions.
- Driving licence category B required.
