Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly at this entry grade of category C. A contract worker can be recruited when no civil servant application has succeeded.

Diploma: Baccalaureate and/or BTS in landscaping
Experience: Beginners accepted

- Baccalaureate and/or BTS in landscaping required.
- Good knowledge of plants.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather.
- Team spirit, public service mindset and good communication.
- Responsiveness, autonomy, diplomacy and listening skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Duty shifts and on-call work at the greenhouses outside working days.
- Taking part in service events, such as the Marché aux fleurs.
- May be asked to support other municipal departments.
