Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, at entry-level category C grades.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Qualification or experience in green spaces
- Follow health and safety rules
- Work well in a team, with rigour and energy
- Be fit for outdoor work and lifting loads
- Have a public service mindset
- Hold a driving licence B (required)
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 31 (Closes tomorrow)
Send your CV and cover letter to the town hall, by post or by email to the HR department, as explained in the offer. The deadline is 31 October 2026.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Permanent full-time job, 37 hours per week
- Driving licence B required
- On-call technical duty and gritting by rota
