Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a public exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.

Diploma: CAP-BEP (level 3), or good field experience
Experience: Experience in green spaces is desired
The profile they look for:

- Physical fitness: lifting loads over 25 kg, working outdoors.
- Driving licence B is essential.
- Ability to operate machinery, CACES certification desirable.
- Knowledge of workplace safety rules.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Work on weekends and public holidays is very occasional, once or twice a year.
- Changing rooms, staff room and technical premises are provided for park staff.
