Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: CAP or BEPA (level V), or field experience

The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of horticulture, botany and green space maintenance.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and hygiene rules.
- Able to drive vehicles; driving licence B required.
- CAP or BEP level, or field experience.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 8 (Closes in 10 days)
Apply on the employer's website from the official offer page. You also send your CV and cover letter to the town hall, for the attention of the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- On-call duty possible, and occasional work with private companies.
- Driving licence B required; CACES certificate appreciated.
- No management role.
