Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP-BEP in landscape work or horticulture
Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar job
The profile they look for:
- Solid knowledge of plants and green space upkeep methods
- Awareness of and training in ecological management
- Able to use and maintain horticultural tools and equipment
- Knows and applies safety rules
- Able to work in a team and across services
- Good physical fitness
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter to the Antony town hall, addressed to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Based at the municipal technical centre or the annex depot in the north of Antony
- Manual handling of over 10 kg, good physical fitness required
- Driving licence B strongly preferred
