Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP in landscaping or horticulture
Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar job
The profile they look for:
- CAP or BEP in landscaping or horticulture.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar job.
- Good knowledge of plants and green space maintenance techniques.
- Able to use and maintain horticultural equipment.
- Knows and applies safety rules.
- Able to work in a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time job, 37 hours over 5 days, with 11 RTT days off.
- Good physical fitness required: handling loads over 10 kg.
- Based at the municipal technical centre or the depot in the north of Antony.
- Driving licence B strongly preferred. Remote work not possible.
