Civil servants and contract staff can apply. You do not need to have passed a civil service exam, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP in horticulture, or training in green spaces
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- CAP or BEP in horticulture, or training in green spaces.
- Proven experience in horticultural practice.
- Good knowledge of plants and biodiversity.
- Sense of public service and good people skills.
- Ability to work in a team and a sense of responsibility.
- Car driving licence (VL) required, heavy vehicle licence (PL) an advantage.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 6 (Closes in 8 days)
Send your CV and cover letter to the Mayor, preferably by email. Otherwise, send them by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Car driving licence (VL) required.
- On-call duty and exceptional interventions possible, including snow or storms.
