Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know simple techniques for managing green spaces.
- Know and recognise common ornamental plants.
- Know how to use small equipment and tools.
- Follow hygiene and safety rules.
- Work in a team and report on your work.
- Follow instructions from your managers.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by email or by post to the town hall, as stated in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Two similar posts are open.
- Grades open: adjoint technique and agent de maîtrise.
- A contract worker's contract cannot exceed one year, renewable up to 2 years in total.
