Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can apply, because the entry grade of category C allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP in horticulture or green spaces, bac pro or brevet pro in green spaces
The profile they look for:
- Diploma in horticulture or green spaces (CAP, bac pro or brevet pro)
- Driving licences B and C
- Knowledge of safety rules and risk control
- Knowledge of maintenance techniques
- Ability to organise and adapt work
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter to the Mayor, by post or through the town's website given in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
