Civil servants and contract staff can apply. You do not need to have passed a competition, because the entry grade in category C allows direct hiring.

The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of fertilisation programmes
- Knowledge of plant protection products
- Able to spot signs of plant diseases
- Skilled in maintenance, resowing and watering techniques
- Able to report on work
- Follows hygiene and safety rules
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
