Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Basic knowledge of differentiated management and biodiversity.
- Knowledge of plants and green space maintenance techniques.
- Category B driving licence required; heavy goods vehicle licence is a plus.
- CACES elevating platform certificate requested.
- Able to maintain petrol and electric machines.
- Works well in a team and reports problems.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job, adjoint technique grade.
- 38 hours per week, 25 days of leave and 18 RTT days.
- Physical work, exposed to heat, cold and rain.
- Remote work not possible.
