Open to civil servants and contract agents. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of plants and garden maintenance techniques.
- Able to work outdoors.
- Able to use equipment such as tillers, mowers, brush cutters and sprayers.
- Holds the certiphyto (phytosanitary certificate).
- Meticulous.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Mandatory certifications: CACES and phytosanitary certificate.
- Some weekend work depending on events, with annualised working hours.
