Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired directly, at the adjoint technique grade (category C).
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Vocational baccalaureate (bac pro) at least, in landscaping, horticulture or green spaces
Experience: Experienced; experience in a similar job is valued

- Good knowledge of plants and garden maintenance techniques.
- Knowledge of safety rules.
- Interest in biodiversity and ecological management.
- Able to work alone and in a team.
- Rigour, versatility and liking for outdoor work.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send a cover letter and a CV to the town hall, by post or by email to human resources. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permis B) is essential.
- On-call duty and availability during the peak season.
- No remote work; outdoor work across the town.
- Working time: 1607 hours per year.
