Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced in a similar job, ideally in a local authority
The profile they look for:
- Successful experience in a similar job, ideally in a local authority
- Knowledge of gardening techniques and botany
- Follows safety rules and wears protective equipment
- Valid driving licence (category B)
- Works well in a team and takes care with the work
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 21 (Closes in 19 days)
Send your application by postal mail to the town hall, following the instructions on the offer page. Your letter must include the job title and the offer number.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Driving licence category B required.
