Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAPA, BEPA or vocational bac in green spaces (required)
The profile they look for:
- Recognise ornamental plants and weeds.
- Plant according to the plans provided.
- Know horticultural techniques.
- Detect plant diseases and pests.
- Be independent, punctual and methodical.
- Take pride in good work and have a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 15 days)
Apply on the employer's website or send your CV and cover letter to the Human Resources Department of the Vincennes town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Technical on-call duty once a month, outside office hours and at weekends.
- Driving licence B required; licences C and E would be a plus.
- Available for ceremonies, weekends, public holidays and summer watering.
- Snow clearing and winter road plan during winter.
