Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade of category C (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Training in green spaces or similar experience
The profile they look for:
- Training or experience in green spaces.
- Able to use horticultural equipment.
- Able to maintain lawns, trees, hedges, roses and beds.
- Knows safety rules and worksite signage.
- Likes teamwork and answering questions from the public.
- Driving licence B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B required, licence C appreciated.
- Position vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Mobility allowance of 75% on transport subscriptions, up to 104.40 € per month.
- Year-end bonus and Comité des Œuvres Sociales after 6 months of seniority.
