The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of crop care and growing techniques.
- Ability to identify plants and spot diseases.
- Safe operation of equipment and machines.
- Good team spirit, rigour, independence and punctuality.
- Sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Mainly outdoor work, with risks (tools, heat, products).
- Annualised working hours, with possible weekend work up to 8 weekends a year.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Job based in Versailles.
