Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners welcome.
The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of plants and of gardening and landscaping techniques.
- Rigorous and independent, with a good sense of teamwork.
- Able to take initiative and follow instructions.
- Good people skills, as you deal with the public every day.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website. You can also send your CV and cover letter to the human resources department of the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time job, 39 hours per week, with 25 days of annual leave and 23 days of RTT.
- Working hours from 6:30 to 14:15.
- Remote work not possible.
- Driving licence B and CACES R372 cat 1 are preferred.
