Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grades offered (adjoint technique) are entry-level category C grades.

The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of plants and how to care for them.
- Skills in planting and lawn-sowing methods.
- Knowledge of materials, landscape masonry and watering systems.
- Initiative, rigour and attention to detail.
- Follows health and safety rules.
- Driving licence B and CACES certificate required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Driving licence B and CACES certificate required.
- No management responsibility.
