Civil servants and contract staff. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired, because the post is open to entry-level grades in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced (confirmé level).
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of urban planning.
- Skills in ADS (planning permits).
- Knowledge of how the territorial civil service works.
- Ability to work with staff, elected officials, state services and residents.
- Ability to use office software and dedicated job software.
- Good people skills, listening and consultation.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
