Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The job is open to the technician, senior technician (2nd class) and senior technician (1st class) grades.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Bac+2/3 in urban planning, law or regional planning
The profile they look for:
- Training in urban planning law, public law or law.
- Bac+2 or bac+3 in urban planning, law or regional planning.
- Knowledge of the Urban Planning Code and application procedures.
- Independence, rigour and good people skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category B (intermediate profession).
- For contract staff, the contract cannot exceed one year, renewable up to 2 years in total.
