Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The nursing state diploma is required.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: State Diploma of Nurse (IDE)
The profile they look for:
- Hold the State Diploma of Nurse (IDE).
- Know emergency procedures and the conditions treated in the emergency department.
- Be able to use the URQUAL software and keep records.
- Adapt to different patients: adults, children, people with behaviour disorders.
- Know the department's protocols, including haemovigilance.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full time: 35 hours per week, with alternating day and night shifts.
- You rotate between the department's different posts based on your skills.
- Leave: 25 annual days, plus 2 off-season days and one split day if entitled.
