Diploma: State nursing diploma (Diplôme d'État d'infirmier)
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Able to organise your work and work on your own
- Able to handle emergencies with no doctor on site
- Provide care for older people
- Monitor the clinical condition of patients
- Manage pain and end-of-life care
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Day job: 4 weekdays per week, 8h45 per day.
- One weekend in four must be worked.
