Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A contract worker may be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded.

Diploma: Nursing state diploma (IDE)
The profile they look for:
- Holder of the nursing state diploma (IDE).
- Planning management when the IDEC and site manager are absent.
- Knowledge of medical confidentiality and age-related illnesses.
- Knowledge of the rules for local authorities and ESMS facilities.
- Organisation, rigour, listening and empathy.
- Ability to handle emergency situations.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
