Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The post is open to the general nursing care grade of the territorial civil service.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: State nursing diploma (Diplôme d'Etat d'infirmier)

- State nursing diploma (required).
- Attention to residents' needs.
- Organisation to ensure continuity of care.
- Team spirit with care assistants.
- Empathy and kindness.
- Interest in geriatric care.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- 15-day cycle: one week of 30 hours, one week of 40 hours, and every other weekend.
- Works in turns with another nurse, under the responsibility of the IDEC.
