Civil service nurses can apply by transfer, secondment or eligibility list. Contract staff can be hired if no civil servant applies.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: State nursing diploma or recognised equivalent
The profile they look for:
- State nursing diploma (Diplôme d'Etat d'infirmier) or recognised equivalent.
- Knowledge of geriatrics and gerontology.
- Knowledge of mental health issues in older people.
- Good command of hygiene and safety rules.
- Ability to respond to emergencies and crises.
- Patience, listening skills, teamwork and stress management.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 14 days)
Apply on the employer's website linked from the official offer. The application can also be sent by post to the CIAS.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Remote work is not possible.
- Position vacant from 8 January 2027.
- The offer lists category A (managerial grade).
