Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the post is open to entry-level category C grades.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of regional and national archaeology.
- Experience running activities for children, a plus.
- Driving licence (permis B) desired.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, through the official offer. Send a cover letter and your CV.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- About 10 hours a month, on weekends, during school holidays and some weekdays.
- Occasional evening work at national and local events.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Based at the ARCHÉA museum in Louvres (Val d'Oise).
