Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because an entry grade in category C is listed.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: High school diploma to two years of higher education in management, accounting, public finance or administration, or training giving access to the rédacteur territorial job group
Experience: Proven experience in budget and accounting management in a local authority or public body
The profile they look for:
- Know all the rules of public accounting.
- Master Excel and office tools.
- Master financial management software, such as Berger-Levrault.
- Be rigorous, methodical and precise.
- Explain technical rules to non-specialists.
- Work independently and suggest improvements.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 1 (Closes in 30 days)

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Contract worker contract limited to one year, renewable up to 2 years.
