The profile they look for:
- Legal and budget or accounting skills at a basic working level.
- Knowledge of the work environment and applying regulations, practical level.
- Rigour and method, mastery level.
- Analysis skills and ability to summarise.
- Communication and writing skills, practical level.
- Teamwork and autonomy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 31 (Closes in 60 days)
Fill in the single mobility or recruitment form, available on the Paris police prefecture HR website. Send it before the deadline.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work possible after one year in the job.
- Post vacant from 1 September 2026.
- No new performance bonus (NBI).
- Expected time in the post: 3 years.
