Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A contract worker may be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded. Open grades: Rédacteur and Technicien, including senior grades.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Training in public finance, public accounting, management or equivalent
The profile they look for:
- Master the budget and accounting rules of local authorities.
- Have a good knowledge of the accounting and financial chain.
- Know the M57 accounting framework.
- Link business and technical contacts.
- Show rigour, teaching skills and good people skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Job based in Caen or Rouen.
- Pay according to statutory conditions, plus a bonus scheme.
- Up to 23 days of RTT (time off) per year and flexible hours.
- Post to be filled as soon as possible under the recruitment rules.
