Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Bac or bac+2
Experience: Experienced; similar job experience wanted
The profile they look for:
- Baccalaureate or two-year higher diploma (bac or bac+2).
- Thorough knowledge of public procurement law and rules.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and public finance.
- Knowledge of how local authorities work.
- Rigour, independence and analytical skills.
- Experience with the Marco software is a plus.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 6 (Closes in 7 days)
Apply through the employer's website or by post to the town hall, with a handwritten letter and a CV. The human resources department can give more information.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
