Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired directly at this entry grade of category C. Disabled workers can also join by contract.

The profile they look for:
- Know storage, stock arrangement and inventory techniques.
- Know hygiene and safety rules, including the HACCP method.
- Master safe lifting and handling movements.
- Use basic office tools and stock management software.
- Be organised and able to work in a team.
- Be responsive and have good people skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working hours: 10am to 6:30pm.
- Heavy loads, frequent cold and handling of dangerous products.
- Old buildings, one without a lift; reconstruction work in progress.
- Accessible to disabled applicants.
