Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because one of the grades offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Experience: Experienced level, significant experience in a similar job or administrative role in a local authority.
The profile they look for:
- Significant experience in a similar job or in administrative roles.
- Knowledge of public accounting rules and the M57 chart of accounts.
- Knowledge of accounting rules for public purchasing and cash collection offices (régies de recettes).
- Good skills in business software and office tools, appreciated.
- Rigour, autonomy and organisational skills.
- Public service ethic and professional discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter to the town hall by email or by post before the deadline. You can also apply on the employer's website from the official offer page.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Remote work possible, one day per week at most, on a fixed day.
