Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who is not a civil servant can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.

Experience: Confirmed experience
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of local authorities and how they work
- Knowledge of waste management software is a plus, or ability to learn it
- Good command of public accounting rules and waste service funding
- Good organisation skills and ability to set priorities
- Ability to work across teams, team spirit
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Open grades: adjoint administratif, adjoint administratif principal (2nd or 1st class).
