Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a public competition can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know alert and emergency procedures
- Handle simple plumbing, carpentry, painting, locksmith and electrical tasks
- Know how to use cleaning products and cleaning methods
- Work independently and take initiative
- Good interpersonal skills
- Energetic and motivated
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 6 (Closes in 4 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by email to the town hall. Put the job title in the subject line.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
